10 Reasons Why You Can't Get What You Want - by Rod Low.

I believe that all of us want happiness and success in life. However, very few can actually admit that they have got there. Many didn't know why they aren't successful, so few knew why, but didn't do anything about it.
I have the privilege to come across a list of reasons why most people couldn't achieve happiness or success in life. As I read through, I too discovered that some of the reasons here have been standing in the way between success and me. As you go over the list now, check yourself by it, point by point, to find out how many of these causes-of-failure stand between you and success.

Lack of purpose in life - Before I start taking my life seriously, I have no major purpose in life. All day long, I would either play games at home, or after work, chill out with my friends. There is no sense of responsibility to my family, no commitment at work and of cause, no purpose. Life was pretty much a routine. A routine that I hate, a routine that I want to get rid of. Many people I have come across are leading the life that I have led years ago. And gradually I discovered that lack of purpose in life (or anything else for that matter) is always and will always be at the top of the list of failure.

Lack of ambition to aim high - People who are not happy at where they are and yet are unwilling to aim high above mediocre and pay the price of success, will never be happy. I have seen them, they will whine about their work, about their boss, about everything and anything under the sun. But they aren't willing to work on it, to find out how to get ahead of the pack. When told of what they could have done so that they could get out of the rug, they will come up will excuses for not able to do it.  No success will ever befall on those who lack the ambition to aim high above the mediocrity.

Insufficient education - This is a handicap, which can be overcome with ease. How many times have you read or heard of successful people having little or no educational background?Experience has proven that the best-educated people are often those who are known as "self-made" or self-educated. In times like these, college degree alone is no longer sufficient to bring you to the top.

Education consists, not so much of knowledge, but of knowledge effectively and persistently applied. We are paid, not merely for what we know, but more particularly for what we do with which we know.

Lack of self-discipline - Self-discipline comes from self-control. This means you need to control all the negative qualities you believe you have. Self-control, though is a skill, will be one of the hardest skill you will ever learnt. However, if you do not conquer yourself, yourself will conquer you.

Ill health - No one can enjoy outstanding success without good health.  Many causes of ill health is the result of poor self-control. Some of the examples that contribute to ill health are
- Overeating
- Wrong habits of thought
- Smoking
- Lack of proper physical exercise
- Drinking

Unfavorable environmental influence - Most people who have tendency to commit crime acquire them as the result of bad environment and improper associates during childhood.

Procrastination - One of the most common causes of failures. Procrastination is the deferment  or avoidance of an action or task and is often linked to perfection. Most people failed in life because they are waiting for the 'time to be right'. The thing is, the time will never be right. Start where you stand, and work with whatever tools you may have at your command, and better tools will be found as you go along.

Lack of persistence - There are many good 'starters', but very few finishers of everything they begin. They will begin something with high hopes and enthusiasm but loss that excitement when they are facing the first sign of defeat. But we ought to learn that nothing substitute the lack of persistence. And those who know this discovered that failure has no way in coping persistence.

Negative personality - There is no hope of success for a person who repels others through negative personality.  Not many realize this; success is attained through the cooperation efforts of other people. A negative personality will not induce cooperation. Above are 10 reasons that may have stopped you from achieving happiness, attaining success. Look through it and see if you have possessed any of them. If you have, ask yourself "what will you do to overcome them?"

If You Could Only Read One More Paragraph For The Rest Of Your Life

- Photograph by Thaib Chaidar

Take a step back. Take a good look at yourself. You're human. You are beautiful. You are so beautiful. And you can be anything. You can be everything. Don't hate because somebody broke your heart, or because your parents split up, because your best friend betrayed you, your father hit you, the kid down the street called you fat, ugly, stupid, or worthless. Do not concern with matters that you cannot control. Cry when you want too, and let go when it's time. Do not hang onto painful memories because you don't want to forget. Let go of things that are in the past. Forget things that aren't worth remembering. Stop taking things for granted. Stop taking life for granted. Live for something. Live for yourself. Fall in love. Fall out of love. Fall in love. Fall out of love. Do this over and over again until you what it really is to love somebody. Question things. Tell people how you really feel. Sleep under the stars. Create. Imagine. Inspire. Share something wonderful. Make something beautiful and then destroy it. Meet new people. Make someone's day. Follow your dreams. Live life to it's true potential. Just live, dammit. Let go of all of the horrible things in your life and just fuckin live it. And one day, when you're old, look back with no regrets.

iUntangle

This post is dedicated to Steve Jobs A visionary, A genius, An innovative product designer and above all A great Human.

It's hard to accept, but we can't change the past. We can't go back and manipulate things to the way we wanted them to happen because life would be meaningless and boring and just not worth living. However, the most beautiful thing about life is that we can change the future.
Yes, we will make mistakes. They are inevitable, We will have bad days - but as long as we let the past go. We'll have a great future ahead of us.

The things are meant to happen. They are the results of our deeds good or bad, right or wrong, intentionally or mistakenly. The point is 'each day we will learn something new and keep growing to be a better person'.
The truth is there is no ideal Life. There can be only balanced life, and it consist of everything from laugh to cry, from good to evil and from birth to death.

We are not supposed to do everything right. So,  Follow your heart. Take chances. Tell the truth. Meet the person who is totally wrong for you. Don't fear, sometimes its right to do the wrong thing. Say no. Spend all your cash! Fall in love. Get to know someone random. Be random. Say I love you. Sing out loud. Laugh at a stupid joke. Cry. Get revenge. Apologize. Tell someone how much they mean to you. Tell the asshole what you feel. Let someone know what they are missing. Laugh until your stomach hurts. In short LIVE LIFE!

Motivation from Masters

                                                            -Art by Julian Becerra

If you are a craftsman at heart. then you will know, or at least be able to sense, the immensely satisfying joy that follows successful completion of a plan that has probed to the limits of your goal, intelligence, skill and effort.

Such a joy is so pure and satisfying that it is a complete reward in itself. Happiness lies in the joy of achievement and the thrill of creative effort.

As Albert Einstein said Real sign of intelligence isn't knowledge, it's imagination. We should accept that we live in the best of all possible worlds. He who has a why to live can bear almost any how.

My Gratitude

To all the mistakes i have done, to  all those peoples who pulled my legs, to the narrow-minded and negative peoples around me, to all those misunderstanding in my life, and to those friends who turned out to be back stabbers. You all challenged me to become the person I wanted to be. I am stronger because of all the stupid things you put me through. You made me better then i was before. You made me stronger then ever. Thanks, thanks for everything.

LIFE is worth LIVING

                                                                                         art by Leonid Afremov

Each of us is a star.
Sometimes situations, take our shine away.
Clouds set in and we can't see our own light…
Sometimes we shine with the rest…
Sometimes we twinkle alone…
But we have to realize,
that we sometimes are the only signal for
Someone in times of darkness..

So take the time and realize your worth
and fight for things that are important..
Even if the cost is great
and you might hurt someone you love…
your true feelings have to be known…
I have learned that we are only here one time on earth.
We are not lucky enough to have the chance to live our life all over,

but we are endless blessed,
that there will still be a tomorrow
and that is our chance to make a difference.

Fundamental Rights

If you’ve had any relation with Indian education you might have heard of ‘fundamental rights’. quick revision of what fundamentals these rights talk about..

  • The right to equality (prohibit discrimination on the grounds of religion, race, caste, sex, or place of birth.)
  • The right to freedom.(Freedom of speech and expression, which enable an individual to participate in public activities.)
  • The right to freedom from exploitation.(They also forbid trafficking of human beings and forced labour.)
  • The right to freedom of religion.(According to the Constitution, all religions are equal before the State and no religion shall be given preference over the other. Citizens are free to preach, practice and propagate any religion of their choice.).
  • Cultural and educational rights.(Any community which has a language and a script of its own has the right to conserve and develop it. No citizen can be discriminated against for admission in State or State aided institutions.)
  • The right to constitutional remedies.(Right to constitutional remedies empowers the citizens to move a court of law in case of any denial of the fundamental rights.)
The challenge lies in the understanding the problem. We do not have a proper definition for what we really mean. Most of these rights are so vague that we don't know how to utilize them. though we have learned how to abuse them. like the Right to practice terror in the name of Region and Religion.

We say everyone is equal but we still have reservations which is based on caste and religion not on  basis of merit. We talk about freedom of speech, freedom of expression but , does that mean we can run naked on roads or talk shit in public ?
Freedom must be practice in most ethical way. Freedom demands integrity.

It is  very unfortunate that our conceptions and our theories are proven wrong. Despite of having strong cultural background. The philosophy we have has not helped us . It has led  us to a mediocre reality. It has led us to accepting a reality that is full of suffering. Despite having near perfect electoral system we end up sending incapable and corrupt leaders to our democratic institution. We might have good policies but they are totally dysfunctional in reality.

What solution you would suggest ?

Only solution is accept RESPONSIBILITY and take CHARGE.
